Debbie has served in many capacities as a member of the Board of Trustees and Sisterhood, including as president of each. She is the editor of the monthly bulletin.

Debbie spent 3 years living on Kibbutz Ein Hamifratz, in northern Israel.
She was an elected member of the Schenectady City School District Board of Education.

Debbie works at Capital Management Partners, LLC, an investment advisory firm, and is the Director of Client Services.

Debbie has 2 children and 2 grandchildren. She is a third generation member of Congregation Beth Israel.

Al is currently the Vice President of Beth Israel.  After graduating from Bryant University Al joined Schenley Industries marketing department in Manhattan.  He did graduate work in business education at Syracuse University and then joined the family business, which was established in 1888 by his great uncle I.N.Lovenheim in Little Falls.  In 1997 he sold the business and joined his wife Judy at her marketing agency.  In 1999 they moved to the Capital Region and joined Beth Israel.  Al & Judy have 2 children and 5 grandchildren.

Born in Brooklyn, NY and grew up in Staten Island, NY. Graduate of Syracuse University Whitman School of Management and Syracuse Law School. Moved to Capital Region in 1985. Practicing attorney in Albany, NY. Lives with husband, Dr. Elliott Greene, in Voorheesville, NY where they ride their horses and entertain their dog, Winnie. Three daughters are located in Manhattan, White Plains and Buffalo. Compiles Book of Remembrance and Gemilut Chasadim journal for shul. Liaison for nursery school that is situated in shul. Volunteer Income Tax Assistance/Tax Counseling for the Elderly AARP volunteer.

Margo was the first female president of the congregation. She is currently serving as financial/recording secretary. She holds a BA and MSW from the State U. At Buffalo, taught at the Hebrew Academy of the Capital District, and served as the Jewish Chaplain/Hillel Director at Union College for close to 20 years. Now in retirement, she plays violin in the Albany Senior Citizens Orchestra, serves as a volunteer for Jewish Family Services Project Five, and enjoys
spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Jim Strosberg is currently the Recording Secretary. He and Margo and their 5 kids have been members since 1976. Jim is a retired physician. He participates in the Haftorah rotation.
Currently serves on the Board of the Schenectady County Historical Society and along with 3 other shul members perform with the Albany Area Senior Orchestra. Is a Past Chief of the Department of Medicine of Ellis Hospital and Past Chairman of the Northeastern New York Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation.
